Two Cakes

I made two cakes today!
1. Jamie's Nan's Lemon Drizzle Cake, and
2. Earl Grey Tea Cake from the Okashi book.

The Lemon Cake, came out as expected - dry at first, but moist after pouring lemon juice all over. Made only a quarter of the icing this time as there was too much icing though I halved it the last time I made it. It is perfect this time in terms of proportion. At least for me.

Only problem - the cake is really flat. Perhaps I need a smaller tin. :)

The Earl Grey Tea Cake is not too bad. Both sisters said it was nice but barely ate it. Don't know if it was overdose of pizza today, or if the cake is not really nice. I thought it was ok.
